HOW TO LIVE FOREVER WITH GOD

Thank you! You are reading this either because you are curious for one reason or another, or you sincerely want to settle certain questions in your mind. Either way, I am thrilled that you are here.

So let me tell you this beautiful, true, love story.

God, the Creator of all life, has always existed and always will.1That is beyond our comprehension for He purposely has limited our understanding for our own good. 2His son Jesus was with Him during the creation of our world and took part in our creation. 3He created angels and assigned them to different tasks. One of His angels He named Lucifer, gifted him with much beauty, and placed him above the rest to serve him more closely. Pride caused Lucifer to rebel, 4thinking that he could be as God and take God’s place, so God cast him out of heaven along with one third of the angels who rebelled with him. The earth became his temporary domain. Doesn’t that explain a lot?

The Bible, otherwise known as the Word of God because it contains His words of instruction for us, reveals that God created us in His likeness to be His friends forever.5He gave us a free will so that we could truly love Him and not have to love Him. He loved us before we were born, having already known us before we were even conceived.6He has a unique plan for each of us, good plans to prosper us and give us hope and a future.7

The Word of God tells us that sin came into the world through the first humans God created, Adam and Eve, when they chose to disobey God. 8Since that time every person has been born with a sinful nature and all of us have sinned.9That sin separates us from our Holy God for all of eternity because God is too holy to allow sin in His presence. Therefore, the penalty for sin is death,10meaning separation from God.

Because of His immense love for us, God made a way of escape by sending His Son Jesus to pay the penalty of death by giving His own life.11After willingly being tortured and nailed to a wooden cross to die, Jesus was placed in a tomb. But this was part of God’s plan, for three days later God raised Him to life12and gave Him a seat on His right hand where He is today.13So the penalty for our sin is death, but the gift of God is life forever with Him, through the payment made by Jesus Christ.10

The Bible also tells us it is appointed to every man to die once and after that face the Judgement.14 This scripture tells us two things:
  1. There is life after death.
  2. Everyone will face judgment, both the righteous and the unrighteous.

So what is the Judgment? It is the time after death when each individual will stand before his or her Maker to be judged on where and how he or she will spend eternity. When a person accepts Jesus’ gift, his or her name is written in the Book of Life and is made righteous by the blood Jesus shed when He died on the cross.15 Those who reject Jesus are the unrighteous. So, let’s first talk about the judgment of the unrighteous.

The unrighteous, those who have rejected Jesus gift of freedom and whose names are not written in the Book of Life, will be sent to the lake of fire, which was originally intended and reserved for the devil and his angels.16 Those cast into the lake of fire will be punished for all eternity.17

Now for the righteous, those who have accepted Jesus free gift and have turned from their own ways, the judgment they face will determine what treasures and awards they have amassed according to how they served God and what they did with the gifts God gave them while on earth.18 Then they will spend eternity with God on a new earth God has created for them.19

So, my friend, everyone has been given the choice to accept or reject God’s gift of life. It is a free gift available to all. You cannot earn it.20 You can only accept or reject it. What you do with that choice will determine not IF you will live forever, but WHERE you will live forever.

If you have never accepted this free gift, now is the right time. Don’t wait until later. You don’t know what tomorrow holds…or even the rest of today. Read this simple ABC guide, then say the following prayer out loud.

ACKNOWLEDGE YOU ARE A SINNER:
  • ROMANS 3:23 – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (King James Version)
  • ROMANS 3:10-12 - As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." (Today’s New International Version)

BELIEVE THAT JESUS DIED TO PAY THE PENALTY FOR YOUR SINS:
  • ROMANS 5:8 – But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Today’s New International Version)
  • ROMANS 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (King James Version)
  • JOHN 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (Today’s New International Version)

CONFESS THAT YOU ARE A SINNER:
  • 1 JOHN 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (King James Version)
  • ROMANS 10:9,10 - If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. (Today’s New International Version)

PRAYER:

My God,
I confess that I am a sinner. I’m sorry for my sin and ask your forgiveness.
I believe Jesus died to pay my penalty. Thank You, Jesus. God, I believe You raised Jesus from the dead. I accept your free gift. I accept Jesus.I give my life to you and turn from my old ways.Thank You for saving me. Please change me as I follow you.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My Friend, if you prayed this prayer, your name is now written in the Book of Life. You will not face judgment with the unrighteous. You will now be judged according to what you do with the rest of your life. But eternal life with God is yours. I’m so happy for you. The Bible says that at this very moment the angels of God are rejoicing because of the decision you just made.21

Everyone's work will be put through the fire to see whether or not it keeps its value. 14 If the work survives the fire, that builder will receive a reward. 15 But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss.
