Lori knew from a young age that her gifts and calling were in the form of music ministry and utilized various musical resources throughout her education.
Being born into a fundamental Christian home of many generations, Lori came to know the Lord personally at a very young age. She was baptized in water as a young girl and was trained by Godly parents to pursue God passionately.
As an adult Lori has ministered musically in various ways and in several churches on the East Coast, most recently at First Assembly Ministries in Fort Myers where she has been a soloist for many years, served in the choir, worship team, ensembles, directed hand bell choir and kid’s choir, and led worship for numerous special events.
It wasn’t until later on in life that Lori realized there had to be much more to the abundant life promised than what she had already experienced. After years of ministry and serving God, there was still something important missing inside, which left her feeling incomplete, spiritually worn out, and lacking the true power of God she read about in the Word. It was then that God supernaturally revealed to her His amazing truth that true discipleship begins by taking up the cross of Christ, putting yourself on it, dying to self, and learning to live from the life of Christ Himself. It was at the point of learning these principles and putting them into practice that she experienced newness of real life in Christ and a new and fresh anointing on her singing ministry.
From that time on, the calling of God into full time ministry continued to intensify. Today Lori is stepping out in faith to pursue God’s direction in service. With her debut release “Living from the Life of Christ” Lori desires to minister the hope, healing, and encouragement of Jesus Christ to the nation and to the world.
Using God’s Word and ministry of song to bring encouragement and edification for more powerful and abundant living by the biblical principle of dying to one’s self and living from the life of Christ.
Brought up in a musical Christian home, Lori has been singing in ministry since childhood in churches, granges, civic halls, nursing homes, camp meetings, etc. In high school she participated in any musical opportunities available to her including drama, piano, guitar, oboe, hand bells, various choirs, musical competitions, as well as numerous district and all state concerts by audition.
Over the past 24 years Lori has ministered in song and led worship for many different churches, women’s groups, civic and community ceremonies, and special events, as well as directing various types of choirs.
“I have never won any major awards of any kind. I do not have any specialized degrees. I am simply gifted and commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ:
‘The Spirit
of the Lord is upon me,
because he hath anointed me to preach the
gospel to the poor;
he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to
preach deliverance to the captives, and
recovering of sight to the blind, to set at
liberty them that are bruised, to preach the
acceptable year of the Lord.’
Luke 4:18,19 KJV
‘…as my Father has sent me, even so send I
you.’
John 20:21KJV
God doesn’t choose
the most talented for His service– He chooses
the most willing!”
“I am so pleased to recommend the ministry of Lori Jerabek. We at First Assembly Ministries have been blessed by her anointed ministry for many years. Not only is she vocally superb but her ministry comes from a heart of worship and complete devotion to the Lord. She is an absolute joy to work with and is an amazing talent who has thrilled our congregation many times. You will be blessed with her ministry!”
– David Thomas, Minister of Music, First Assembly Ministries, Fort Myers, FL
Have you ever heard a voice that made you think, “Everyone needs to hear this woman sing!” Not to disparage American Idol, but how is it that people who can barely hold a pitch can find a national audience, and then someone with a voice like Lori Jerabek, sings when asked – or spends her time directing a children’s choir – for toddlers! I can tell you why. Because Lori’s goal is not to be heard. It is to minister the love and joy of Jesus Christ in any way that becomes available to her. But you DO need to hear her. Amazing. Just amazing. We believe her time has come. This is the Lord’s time for Lori’s ministry. She doesn’t sing to us. She sings for us. And for the glory of the Lord.

“God blessed Lori with a remarkable soprano singing voice. Every time she sang in our church, it was a service-stopper! She sang with brilliance and with anointing. I still remember with great joy her singing “I’ve Just Seen Jesus” along with Larnelle Harris in one of our Easter pageants. Oh, my friend – I wish you could have heard it! I recommend Lori to you and to your congregation. Not only is she supremely talented, but she comes in humility to serve her Lord and the church. We have been blessed by her music so many times here at First Assembly Ministries. You will be blessed, too!”
